Capacity Building
Upskilling the next generation of African health-tech professionals.
Every system we deploy is only as good as the people who run it. Without local talent to maintain, iterate, and scale health technology, even the best platforms eventually stagnate. Our Capacity Building programme is our guarantee against dependency.
We run 12-week intensive bootcamps in four African cities, covering health informatics fundamentals, FHIR implementation, data analysis with Python and R, and UX design for low-literacy health worker interfaces. Bootcamp graduates are matched with open roles across our partner network.
Alongside in-person training we offer a growing library of asynchronous eLearning courses — all free, all open-access, all specifically contextualised for African health systems — reaching thousands of self-directed learners each year.
A dedicated scholarship programme covers full bootcamp costs for women from sub-Saharan Africa, helping to close the persistent gender gap in African tech workforces.
