Our Story
Where We Came From
TAHTA was founded by Yusuf Saho (Engineer) and Momodou W Jallow (Entrepreneur), alongside young innovators, health professionals, and technologists who recognised that systems across Africa are fundamentally disconnected.
Hospitals operate without integrated digital systems, health workers lack real-time data, and policymakers lack reliable statistics. They observed that health services were siloed, emergency responses reactive, and evidence disconnected from policy and education.
TAHTA was established as a multidisciplinary platform to bring together clinicians, engineers, researchers, and policy experts — united by a single objective: equitable, sustainable, technology-enabled healthcare for every African community.
