Community Health
Empowering frontline health workers with the tools they need to transform the last mile.
Africa's community health workers are among the most dedicated professionals in global health — navigating rough terrain, language barriers, and resource scarcity to deliver primary care to the hardest-to-reach populations. Our Community Health programme arms them with technology that fits their reality.
We develop and deploy offline-first mobile applications specifically designed for low-literacy users, with voice guidance in local languages and bright iconographic interfaces that work without reliance on text. Apps sync automatically whenever connectivity is available.
Beyond apps, we integrate telemedicine infrastructure that connects CHWs directly to supervising clinicians — so a community health worker in rural Tanzania can get expert guidance on a complex presentation without either party leaving their community.
We measure success not by downloads or registrations, but by health outcomes: maternal mortality rates, under-five mortality, immunisation coverage, and TB treatment completion in our programme sites.
